Mission

350 Seattle works toward climate justice by organizing people to make deep system change: resisting fossil fuels; building momentum for healthy alternatives; and fostering resilient, just, and welcoming communities.

Description

350 Seattle is vibrant grassroots, staff & volunteer-driven organization whose members believe that large groups of everyday people can take back political power from the fossil fuel companies, big corporations, billionaires, and compromised politicians in order to advance climate justice solutions that reduce pollution, build resilience, and create good jobs in the zero-carbon economy. Our work is in four categories: 1. Resistance (stopping the build-out of new fossil fuel infrastructure). 2. Solutions (advancing just policies to the climate crisis). 3. Accountability (holding polluters and their enablers responsible). 4. Movement Support (building a strong, connected, and resilient movement to make all of this possible). We partner with those most affected by the climate crisis and fossil fuel pollution in our campaigns.

Join us to work for a just and sustainable future!

Some of our key campaigns this year are:

Seattle for a Green New Deal
350 Washington Network
Stop the Money Pipeline

On top of our campaign work we have a plethora of teams that support the movement, such as:
