When people feel like grief is drowning them, we’re here to pull them to safety.
Without support, grieving adults and children can face dire hardships including financial strain, trouble in school, and increased risks of heart attack, stroke, depression, suicide, and substance abuse.
The Healing Center meets these struggles with support and validation. Clients often come to us feeling trapped and alone, but in groups surrounded by others who “get it” their pain is transformed into a meaningful sense of community. No one can make grief disappear, but together we can learn to navigate its waves.
And because grieving families already have enough to worry about, all our services are free. Thanks to donors like you, we’re able to help hundreds of children, teens, adults, and seniors a year - benefiting individuals and their communities.
