Out with the old, in with the 'view'!

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary at the Palouse Discovery Science Center, we're on a mission to upgrade our windows and ensure a brighter future for science education.

Our aging building has served as a hub of discovery and learning for a quarter of a century, but time has taken its toll. The original windows, weathered by years of use, are now in dire need of replacement. We've already had to replace three windows due to damage, leaving us with 16 more to go!

This year, our goal is to replace three more windows in high-traffic areas like the Buildit! Zone, the Lab, and the Office. Each window replacement costs $800-$1000. However, our journey doesn't stop there. We plan to replace the remaining windows in the coming years as we raise enough funds.

Additionally, we are saving up to replace one of our main HVAC roof units that broke over the winter. This is a significant expense on the horizon, and every contribution helps us work towards this essential upgrade.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors like you to maintain our facility and continue providing quality learning environments for the 12,000 children, caregivers, and educators who visit us each year.

Investing in our building is crucial to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the children we serve. The new windows will improve airflow, circulation, and visibility, enhancing the educational experience for generations to come.

We know that these are challenging times for many, but any contribution, big or small, can make a difference. Your donation will directly impact the educational experience of thousands of children and families in our community.

Thank you for considering our cause and for your generous support as we journey into our next 25 years of inspiring curiosity and discovery!
