The Sophia Way is dedicated to removing barriers to housing stability for all the women we serve. One of our tools to doing so is our Client Assistance Fund. This is a restricted fund from which case managers can support clients by directly paying vendors for client needs related to their housing stability. This could include:
- Fees for Documentation (identity, social security, etc)
- Move-in expenses
- Vehicle repairs
Annually we spend ~$250,000 in direct support for clients. Unfortunately, we are out of funds in this critical form of assistance (our vehicle outreach program completely exhausted its grant contract already)! Your restricted support can go quickly to work in supporting client needs, and help women to get and remain housed.
