Barbara's Story

I'm Barbara and I'm part of the Free Rein family. I've been a volunteer there since August of 2025. Initially, I helped with classes as a side walker and leader.  My role has since expanded to include conditioning horses and an expanded role in the classes. This has allowed me to get to really get to know our riders and horses. I love Free Rein and the work we do!  Every class at Free Rein gives participants confidence, joy, and connection. This year, I'm raising $1000 to help keep these programs running and accessible to everyone. 

Your support will help cover classes, instructor certifications, volunteer training, and horse care - everything that makes Free Rein's programs possible. 
Even a small gift goes a long way: $30 helps welcome a new volunteer (or two!), $75 funds a full class for one special rider, and $125 covers a month of hay for one of the heroes in the herd.
