I joined SCAC 3 years ago when I was seeking community with the cultural institution space. I found a supportive environment that was a collection of accessibility subject matter experts passionate about advancing access for individuals with disabilities to enjoy the arts.
Now as a co-chair, I have had the opportunity to build accessibility knowledge and capacity across the Pacific Northwest, experiencing the incredible power that SCAC has to connect folks in a shared effort to embed accessibility within cultural institutions.
This effort would not be possible without the generous contributions that you and our community provides to allow SCAC continue this critical access work.
