$33,000 goal

Last year, thanks to the support of friends like you, a record-breaking 60,000+ people visited Pacific Bonsai Museum! Many were experiencing bonsai for the first time. So, we launched a survey and asked: what does visiting the Museum mean to you?

One visitor described feeling “happiness, peace, awe.” Another shared: “calm, gratitude, joy, connectedness, love, dedication and gratitude.”

When asked what impressed them most, people said things like:

“The trees!! I’m just so in love with them!!” and “The well cared for amazing trees.”

Our visitors are discovering new ways of seeing nature. One wrote, “I didn’t know there were hormones driving growth at the top of the plant.” Another shared, “I never realized bonsai was meant to be nature in miniature.”

You might think it is impossible to make a difference in our world right now, but when you choose to invest in Pacific Bonsai Museum, you are making a real impact on tens of thousands of visitors each year.

In fact, across all of our visitor surveys, three things consistently come up: joy, wonder, and peace.

This spring, we have a goal of raising $33,000 to help care for the collection.

Will you consider supporting the Museum with a donation today? If you do, you will make those moments of joy, wonder, and peace a reality for our visitors, by providing the intensive, hands-on care that bonsai requires.

People visit the Museum carrying the weight of everyday life, and they leave changed and moved by living art. Thank you for your consideration, and for understanding that bonsai is love.
