Sam Yates Community Foundation, Vashon Island Fire & Rescue, and Vashon Medical Reserve Corps are raising funds to install five more Public AED SaveStations in underserved areas of Vashon-Maury Island. To see what these SaveStations look like, check out the one near the sidewalk just south of Vashon Pharmacy. Each unit costs at least $5,000 installed. Yearly maintenance costs will be covered by VashonBePrepared's annual budget.
