Stephanie G's Fundraiser

I have been involved with therapeutic riding for over 10 years; as a volunteer, as an instructor, and as a board member. 

I cannot put into words how much working with Free Rein fills my heart and soul on a daily basis. But, more importantly than that, I have literally watched as people's lives have been changed and improved before my eyes. I have seen positive changes in younger and older people's lives; physically, emotionally, and mentally. 

A most recent standout for me is a participant whom I instructed for almost two years. She suffered with such extreme anxiety that it was stopping her from living a full life. Stopping her from leaving her home independently, holding a job, and fulfilling her dreams. She has gone from being a riding participant at Free Rein to volunteering at Free Rein, conducting trainings of new volunteers, schooling our herd, and also considering a certification as a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor.

That is the magic of what happens at Free Rein. How this center positively affects change in people's lives supports our community as a whole. This is just one of so many standout participants in my heart who have grown and shone so brightly after participating in our adaptive program. 

Please help me reach my goal of $2,500 to help Free Rein continue to change people's lives. We are such a vital part of the community and want to offer our services to as many participants as possible.
