Eastside For All formed in 2019 to advance racial, economic, and social justice in East King County.
We focus on transforming local policies, practices, relationships, and investments.
East King County is more racially and ethnically diverse than Seattle. People of color make up over 50% of the total population in Bellevue, Redmond, and Sammamish, and yet there is virtually no infrastructure to advance racial equity. More than one out of three of our region’s residents was born outside the U.S., but there's no office of immigrant and refugee affairs. Nor do we have an office of civil and human rights.
Our long‑term goal is to ensure that Black and brown communities in East King County have the power, resources, representation and infrastructure needed to advance racial justice and influence the decisions that shape their lives.
What unites us is stronger than what divides us. Help us prove it.
