This holiday season, WestSide Baby is working to Give Joy to every family by ensuring children in our community have the sleep essentials they need - cozy pajamas, warm blankets, hygiene items, formula, diapers and wipes, snuggly stuffed animals, and so much more. With rising costs and growing demand, more families than ever are turning to us through our network of social service providers.

Your cash donation makes the biggest impact for families with children this holiday season. Financial gifts allow us to quickly purchase the most-needed items, fill critical gaps in donations, and respond immediately when families reach out for support. Every dollar helps us provide dignity, safety, and comfort for local children - right when they need it most.

Mission

WestSide Baby, in partnership with our community, provides essential items to children by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing and equipment.

Description

WestSide Baby envisions a day when each child is equipped with the basic items they need to grow into healthy, happy and resilient members of our community.

One in five families in King County struggle to pay for diapers for their children. Having an adequate supply of diapers supports the physical health of infants, as well as the mental health of their caregivers

WestSide Baby meets the basic needs of children to promote safety, security & healthy development. We provide essential items to keep children safe, warm and dry by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, and equipment throughout Western King County. We receive donations from the community, check and sort those donations, and distribute them directly to 100+ partner agencies, who are experts in areas of early learning, parental support and healthcare and who work authentically, and directly with families and children. In 2024, WestSide Baby helped stabilize more than 30,000 families by distributing nearly 2.4 million diapers, along with car seats, strollers, cribs and bags of clothing.
