Mission

Our mission is to provide basic needs and stability so students are successful in their education. We serve unhoused and low-income children attending school in the Edmonds School District. Our services include food, emergency closets, rental assistance, school supplies, and hygiene kits. 

Description

This summer we have been asked by the Edmonds School District to supply 750 backpacks full of school supplies ahead of the new school year. Because we can buy in bulk, the cost for each backpack + supplies is about $30. Even so, that’s more than $22,000 we need to raise to meet this request.

And it matters more than it might seem.

Imagine walking into school on the first day without a backpack.
No supplies. No sense of readiness. Already feeling behind.

When students have what they need, something shifts. Confidence builds. Focus returns. And they can show up ready to learn.
