Vision

Our vision is to create an elder-friendly Key Peninsula, where our neighbors may choose to safely “age in place” with dignity and respect.

Mission

Our mission is to ensure choices for healthy aging on the Key Peninsula by connecting elders with innovative programs and resources.

Programs

The Mustard Seed Project supports seniors across the Key Peninsula with programs that help them stay connected, nourished, and independent. We provide transportation to medical appointments and grocery stores, a welcoming center for social connection, and home-delivered meals. In 2023, we opened The Mustard Seed Village, the peninsula’s first assisted living home for elders. Our Community Volunteers help seniors age in place through yard care, friendly visits, and light housekeeping, while the Key Senior Information Center offers free resources and guidance for older adults and their families. When you support The Mustard Seed Project, you help make the Key Peninsula a place where people can age with dignity, connection, and care.
