Give Now To Ensure a Jazzy Future for Sugartime Trio

This summer founding member Kim Maguire is stepping back from Sugartime Trio. So, we are onboarding 4 new singers! The same great music, same great sound, but with more singers to ensure we can reach a larger audience, continue to partner with local and regional big bands, and make more music.

We are asking for your support to re-brand, rehearse, and grow Sugartime Trio! This will allow us to set a more solid foundation for sustainability through this growth and beyond.

Our History
In 2014, Kim Maguire, Meg McLynn, and Caitlin Frances started singing together as a McGuire Sisters tribute group, backed by the Purple Phoenix Orchestra under the direction of David Duvall. Then, in 2019, they decided to expand their repertoire to include The Andrew Sisters, The Boswell Sisters, and adapt more modern tunes into a jazz/pop feel with their own sense of style.

Working with some of Seattle's top jazz musicians they grew a following and in 2022 jazz bassist Philip Demaree became their band leader. In the early part of 2025 Phil wrote arrangements for Sugartime Trio to perform with Critical Mass Big Band at The Royal Room in Seattle and they debuted their work together to a packed house in September of the same year.

Your gift will ensure a bright future for Sugartime Trio!
