Much like birth, acne and taxes, death cannot be avoided. No one who is grieving should be forced to choose between abandoning their loved one, or paying for funeral services they cannot afford. Bereaved families deserve resources that respect their dignity, free of high-pressure sales, and delivered by compassionate professionals who will affirm the identity and lived experience of the deceased.

Support everyone's access to affordable, accessible and affirming death care. This year, our goal is to help re-open PMA's Funeral Financial Assistance fund for first-come, first-serve support to low-income Washington state residents. Learn more.

Currently, the FFA is closed to new applications due to lack of funding. When in operation, PMA serves two to three grieving families per month. Help us do it again!
