In partnership with the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe and Puget Sound Restoration Fund, we're hosting an Olympia oyster nursery on the Northwest Maritime Center campus in Port Townsend.
Your donation will help us to grow young oysters that will later be transferred to restoration sites around Puget Sound. This project is a key part of our Blue Schools Initiative, which connects students to maritime careers, their communities, and real-world ocean restoration.
Your gift will help cover the cost of algae paste that we feed to the oysters to help them grow and thrive.
Adopt an oyster for $50 or more and you'll be eligible for a special thank you gift—a handmade crocheted baby oyster plush with its very own adoption certificate!
