Project Beauty Share is a nonprofit based in Spokane, Washington, serving communities across Spokane and North Idaho, restoring something many people take for granted: dignity.
Every day, thousands of individuals facing homelessness, abuse, addiction, and poverty go without basic hygiene and personal care items. And while food assistance programs like SNAP help put meals on the table, they don’t allow the purchase of essentials like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, or menstrual items - leaving so many families without the items they need to feel clean, confident, and seen.
That’s where we come in.
Through a network of more than 125 partner nonprofits, Project Beauty Share collects, sanitizes, and distributes essential hygiene, skincare, and beauty products. Turning these everyday items into powerful tools for hope and self-worth. Receiving these can be the difference between feeling invisible and feeling human for countless individuals.
But our impact doesn’t stop there.
One of the most urgent needs we discovered came from an unexpected place: our schools.
Local school counselors began sharing a heartbreaking reality. Students were skipping school because they didn’t have access to basic hygiene products and felt too embarrassed to attend.
In response, we created the Hope 4 Kids Hygiene Drive.
Each fall, this program provides K–12 public schools across our region with the supplies students need to show up clean, confident, and ready to learn, removing a barrier that no child should ever have to face.
While product donations are vital, financial support is what makes this work possible. Monetary gifts allow us to purchase the most-needed items in bulk, fill critical gaps, and ensure every school and partner agency receives exactly what they need, when they need it.
When you give to Project Beauty Share, you’re not just making a donation - you’re helping a child walk into school with confidence, empowering a survivor to rebuild their life, and restoring dignity to thousands in our community.
