Help me support Community School

Community School of West Seattle has been the most amazing learning environment for both of my children. From our first moments at the school our children were welcomed with compassion and a genuine desire to know them and respect them. They have loved the music opportunities, the bookmobile, the magical outdoor spaces. 

I have witnessed the way teachers are devoted to getting to know my children. I believe my children have felt deeply seen. The school is fostering compassion, empathy and social emotional learning, supporting my desire to raise children who know how to be inclusive community builders in the world as they grow up. 

The school serves a diverse community of children and families and accepts a variety of subsidy programs making high quality preschool accessible. They also contract with and connect families to a wide variety of resources and want to continue to do that work. More financial resources will help the school keep all of its amazing programs and continue to find ways to support all students in their individual needs.
